My Naughty Plan

well my plan was to put things on a back burner, but let's just say I sorta, maybe, kinda put them there and forgot about them. Yeah, I did. And that was pretty rather naughty to me.

I did have intentions of taking a break because I knew we had to PCS, but with the date constantly changing, things going crazy, trying to work, dealing with school... blah blah blah blah... I had to make a choice. The stress was so bad that my face was horribly broken out, I actually got some gray hairs, I was feeling sick, and some other things. I don't every remember being so stressed in all my life. So I had to put blogging, schooling, and other things on hold.. cause I just couldn't do it anymore. Not till after we finished with the whole moving thing.

But we are finally in our house and pretty much unpacked (minus a few boxes)... so now my life is finding some normalcy and I couldn't be happier. I started school back up, my acne is better, and I don't feel so stressed :) Plus hey I am back to blogging. However, the most important thing today was that I went and got a gym membership :) Which I am super excited about cause I want to get back on track with TTC naturally and kicking PCOS in the butt.

So that is just a quick update for now on why I've been gone for so long... I would of said something sooner, but I had no internet for a long time either... which didn't help. Anywhootie, I hope all of you are doing well and hope I can catch up on where everyone is at.

Hugs to all,

Cupcake Bud

PS. I actually was happy to discover I hadn't gained any weight during this time... hooray for me.

Confession time: I'm still angry

I don't know why, but this whole pregnancy I have been watching my "baby is the size of what fruit" ticker like a hawk, just waiting to get to lime.
 BabyFruit Ticker
For some reason, I have always watched other people's tickers get to lime and it has seemed unreal.  This safe haven of fruit size.

I think anytime you have trouble trying to conceive, you start to expect things to go wrong.  I have had no spotting this entire time *knock on wood*, yet I still have been both terrified and sure something would go wrong.  Even knowing the odds, hearing the heartbeat and knowing the risk is only 4%, I still expected it to be me.  And why not?  Month after month we had perfect timing, odds are it should have worked.  But it didn't.  It took 2 cycles of femara to get here, which is far less than a lot of women I know.  Which I think is also part of the problem.  When it takes a while, you start seeking out others having trouble, blogs, message boards, you find each other for support, but you also see all that can go wrong, and you think, "if it can happen to them, it can happen to me."

I've heard a lot of women say, and I fully agree that T-TTC takes the innocence away from TTC and pregnancy.  You're never just happy, you're also cautious and terrified.  We learn to be that way when TTC, when every month we say "maybe it will work, but probably not."  And you hold you breath every day of the 2ww waiting for a temp drop, or a BFN, or that first spot.

I always thought that reaching lime would be this magic bullet.  This time when I could stop being afraid, and angry about how this has all gone down.  But I'm not.  A friend whose wife is 23 weeks was joking yesterday about how when they conceived their baby, they sent their other kids to the grandparents for the weekend and announced to the world that they were going to make a baby that weekend.  And guess what, they did.  You'd think I wouldn't care anymore.  That I would have stopped being jealous of him and everyone else who just decides to have a baby, and then does just like that.  But I'm not, I'm still angry.

I am pregnant, and I am happy, and I love this baby, but I still don't quite believe that it will all end well.  And I'm still jealous of those for whom becoming parents comes easy.  I don't want to be.  I hate being this bitter.  I want to be happy for my friend even when he makes stupid insensitive comments.  I thought I would be "over this" by now, but I'm not.  I just wish I knew how to let it go and just be happy.

Is It Ovulation?

So I am going to switch back to gluten-free cause I just felt so much better on that. I lost about another 5 pounds since aunt flo left. So on that note I've felt this twinging of pain and it makes me wonder if I'm ovulating? That would be awesome if that is what the pain was :) but of course with that comes the creeping fears of miscarriage.

What is more frustrating is I thought I was beyond that... thought I was okay and ready for this. Don't get me wrong I am, but those fears are creeping back in about will I make it past those 6 weeks and if I do will my anxiety fears calm down? Will I not feel peace until I hold the bundle of joy in my arms. UGH!

All these thoughts have been getting me down the last few days... which I don't want. So I had a long talk with God and I just have to put it in his hands. I have to put complete trust that he will take care of me and the miracle my heart so desires... and know it will be okay if I get pregnant this cycle.

I can't help [despite the fears of miscarriage & thinking I wanted to wait two more cycles] hope that I will get pregnant this cycle. And as the days near the end of this cycle I am hoping I get a BFP. I don't think that hope really ever leaves when TTC... even though I say next time I won't get my hopes up or set them to high, but I do anyways... every time without fail.

So as I wait out these last weeks I will wait and see if my next cycle starts or just maybe [hoping] I get a BFP.

To Wait or Not to Wait

Oh, the choices and temptations... of TTC.

So I think my cycle is coming to an end and of course my calendar marked my fertile days and I am debating whether we go ahead and try and make sure to do it on most fertile day or to even take my temp? Ugh... I said I wanted to make sure I had a few months worth of cycles in a row before we really tried again... cause it would make sure everything is cleaned out (I mean it's been a good 7 months since I had one last).

But it's hard cause I debate whether I should go ahead... I know what my heart is yearning for, but I also hear the logic in my head telling me I know what I should do (WAIT!). But you know sometimes logic is thrown out the door when it comes to wanting a baby.

However, I think I won't go out of my way to try, but we don't use protection or anything... so I figure it's in God's hands and if it happens it does and I won't expect anything out of it... it's so frustrating to say the least.

I will just stick to working out and getting my weight down and not think about getting pregnant "right" this second. I've waited this long I think I can do another few months... RIGHT?

Pity Party - Table for 1

I was planning on posting today about Mr. TB's urology appointment, but all I can think about is my temp drop today.  I finally got the results of my 7DPO blood work yesterday.  My progesterone was 11.3, which is better that the previous 7.35, but not by enough.  Apparently they want to see +10 for a regular cycle, but +15 for a medicated cycle, which mine was.  The Dr. wasn't in today, but the nurse is going to talk to her and call me today.  I don't think she'll do anything because she said that the 7DPO b/w will be too late for this cycle, and she said that she doesn't want to do anything with progesterone until after I get my thyroid checked out with the endocrinologist, which won't be until the end of cycle 9.

I know that may not sound like a long time, but we also just had to push our appointment with the RE back as well, because Mr. TB can't make our original appointment.  That appointment is now May 10th, which won't be until the start of cycle 11.  So I'm just having myself a pity party.  This cycle is probably a bust, and it feels like the next 2 will be as well.

I've also been eating like crap the last 2 days.  I've been crazing junk food like none other - fries, chips, soda, etc.  I'm sure I'm putting on weight which I really can't afford to do.  I was hoping that the crazing might mean something (even though I know that's ridiculous) but now I'm just mad at myself for giving in.  Blah.

Fairwell Pizza

Well, I suppose I will do my second post for the week :) How exciting... however, I am at a loss for what to say.

How about that starting next week I am kicking my workout into high gear (cause I so need to get back into routine). I started my weight loss journey a few months back and lost around 12 pounds, and then my husband and I just found out he is being forced to cross train into a new job for the military. So of course that means we have to move... which initially caused a lot of stress in the house for the last two weeks, which caused my pizza cravings to kick into high gear. I have an extreme weakness for pizza.. not just any kind either.. Chicago stuffed. I'm salivating as I write this... no joke ;)

The pizza is like a pie; cheese and toppings inside and sauce on top layer of crust. It's so good if you've never had it before I'd give it a try if there's a place around you that makes it. Anyways...

When I am stressed I don't crave sweets or anything else... just pizza. Let me tell you I have eaten more pizza these last two weeks then I have eaten in a years time. I have really tried to stay away from unhealthy foods and I usually have much more will power. But stress is my kryptonite :( and that is when pizza comes knocking on my taste buds.

I can give myself a pat on the back though cause I still did work out... not as much as I usually do every day, but I did work out. But I can feel the toll it is taking on me of not eating so healthy and not working out as much as I usually do. My body is going into fruit and veggie cravings... if you can believe that. And I so badly want to do zumba and my fitness routine with the kinect. So I've decided to have a fair well party with pizza this weekend and welcoming party for fruits and veggies.

On a side note I have been having some massive cramps and my boobs are soar as all gets up... so I am hoping this means my cycle is going to start back up :) Seriously, it needs to.. last time I saw aunt flo was beginning of November. For those who don't know PCOS causes many Cysters to have very irregular to no periods at all. But one of the best things to help with that is weight loss and vitex... so I am doing both. And I am feeling like it's working, which is a plus. Cause I need my cycle to kick back into gear in order to TTC so I can get my BFP. Let's hope it starts in the next couple weeks :)

Hugs,

Metformin 1 - Diva Bud 0

So I officially got my prescription for Metformin on Friday and began taking it on Sunday. Everything was going fine, I was taking one with breakfast, one with dinner (500mg each), and was feeling ok... until yesterday morning. I woke up, like normal, prepared my protein shake (part of my new diet/weight loss regimen), took my million vitamins, my metformin, got ready for work, and headed out... Sipping my shake as I went. About 30 minutes into my morning, I wasn't feeling so hot. I ended up going to the restroom and losing the little bit of the shake I had been able to get down and the partially dissolved multivitamin... (I know, gross - sorry). I felt queezy until I had lunch, and then I was fine. Yup... Metformin kicked my ass! My mistake? Taking too long to drink my shake after taking the medication. You are supposed to take it with food, and I just lagged on that a bit. It will get better, I am told.

But at least I lost 5lbs last week! So far so good :) and I am not even hungry! My Doc upped my protein intake and said that the combination of taking the metformin and the high level of protein will allow my body to break down the fat and gain more muscle, which is the goal. :) Let's raise our protein shakes to getting our bodies into baby-making shape!

Like Clockwork... Who would've thought?!

This is probably the first time in my life that my periods are like clockwork... 35 days - to the day! I don't understand it... Since I was 15 I have had irregular periods. Now, that I am at my heaviest, I have gotten them regularly, like clockwork, for the last 6 or 7 months.

You like my cute little theme on my Period Tracker App? ;) I love the customizable themes :)

So yeah, I don't know what is up with this sudden regularity, but I am ok with it! Works for me :)

Apparently, according to my Calendar on the Period Tracker App, I am ovulating on the 22nd which is the day before we are planning a little getaway for our Anniversary. So I guess we'll see what happens... ;)

In the meantime, I started my diet on Monday. Returning to my daily work routine has helped... I get up and have my Kashi cereal, have either a soup or a cafe steamer for lunch, and a muscle milk shake for dinner. For snacks, I have mini babybel cheeses, triscuit crackers, carrots, etc. So far so good :) I have to go see the Doc again on Friday to do another body scan and get weighed. Maybe he will give me the prescriptions he said he wanted me to take... I guess we'll see!

Starting off the New Year with yet another great tool :)

First off, Happy New Year to all the readers and to all the Buds :) May 2011 bring all the things you want and hope for! I know Mr. DBud are very hopeful for a baby bump this year... He even made sure I ate all 12 of my grapes last night at Midnight ;)

This is for my iPhone/iPad users ;) I wanted to make a quick post about an awesome iPhone app I was turned onto last night. I learned about it from a friend who mentioned it amidst a conversation about tracking fertile days for TTA or TTC purposes... It's called Period Tracker. Here is a screen shot of it:

It's very simple to use.. Just tap when your period begins and tap when it ends. That's it. :) it states that flowers will appear during the fertile window. You can find it at the following address:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/period-tracker-deluxe/id289084315?mt=8

Another good way to keep track of your cycle! Enjoy :)

Follow Up

So, yesterday, I went to my Doctor for my follow-up appointment. Apparently, I am very healthy! Cholesterol was good, sugar was good, thyroid was normal, etc. The results of my stress test (walking on a treadmill and blowing into this little machine) werre also good. He ran me through this machine and did a body scan, deciding that he wanted me to lose like 20kilos of fat and gain muscle.

He is starting me on a diet program of 1200 calories a day, burning 300 with exercise, and has introduced me to an App to help with my "fitness" goals. It's called "MyFitnessPal". It's pretty cool ;) it helps you track what you eat, counting calories, etc.

Basically, now I will just start this, take care of myself and hope things start to happen. He said he wanted to give me an appetite suppressant and some metformin to get me going, so we'll see how that goes.

I need to go buy a bunch of vitamins, a pulse monitor, and some muscle milk, all recommended by the Doc himself :)

Hopefully I can stay on track and reach my goals... My ultimate goal being having a baby bump by next Christmas :)

Good Christmas? No... GREAT Christmas :)

I am proud to be reporting from my brand new iPad, courtesy of Mr. DBud :) Thanks to my nifty little gift, I will be able to blog from anywhere AT&T has coverage! Very exciting :)

Christmas this year was awesome... And among all that awesomeness (Glinda from Wicked would be proud) was a gleam of hope and positivity. I will be getting my blood work results from my Dr. on Tuesday, and will begin to shed light on my situation. I am hopeful that this time next year I will be celebrating with a baby bump :)

Can't wait to share my results with you on Tuesday :) Until then!

Holiday and TTC craziness

Things have been nuts to a 3rd degree... Between Teaching, preparing the school Christmas Show, and gearing up for the Holidays, we have been up to our ears in "busy".

We are taking a small break from actively TTCing, because Mr. DBud got AFLAC through his company, which will begin the 1st of the year, and covers Maternity... So to be on the safe side, we are holding off a month or two so that we can be sure it all pans out well, and we can receive our benefits. On top of that, I had an appointment with my PCP who is now running blood tests and such and will be helping me with my PCOS. He asked that we hold off on TTCing the first month on the program because of the vitamins he is going to give me, or something, and thought it would be best... So for now, we are just holding off a bit, and practicing the BD ;)

The Holidays have been nuts... But I keep hoping that this time next year we will be expecting :) here's hoping!

Dreaming...

Today is CD3, and emotionally, I'm starting to have closure. AF let me have an 11-day LP this cycle, which is TWO days longer than my longest to date. I wonder if having a miscarriage can mess with your body that much? I didn't take any vitamins or supplements last cycle, since I wanted my body to heal on its own. Anyway, that's not the point of today's post.

A girl on an online message board I frequent was musing about potential due dates today, and it got me thinking about when mine would be if I got pregnant again this cycle or next cycle. (Disclaimer: These dates all assume pre-pregnancy/miscarriage cycle lengths and patterns). I headed over to babycenter and checked it out.

If I were to get pregnant this cycle, I'd be due Sept. 16. If I got pregnant next cycle, I'd be due on October 9.

If you all remember, we started TTC right before Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year (2010). We were extremely fortunate to get pregnant right away--in fact, I was pregnant at Yom Kippur, but just didn't know it yet. You all know what happened afterward, but I wonder if G-d's plan for us isn't finished yet. Rosh HaShanah 5772 is September 29-30, and Yom Kippur is October 7-8. So maybe I forgot to specify WHICH YEAR I was asking to have a baby in. G-d, if you're listening, I'll take the last available baby of 5771, or the first available in 5772. (Or any others, if that's the plan...but I'm just trying to be more specific for you).

Have a great Friday everyone!
Lots of Love & Baby Dust,
Magnolia Bud

AF is being a weirdo... and so am I!

Yesterday I mentioned that AF came to town... but I must mention that she made her official appearance this morning, a little later than I thought/felt. I wondered to myself how it could be possible, since I was having such terrible cramps yesterday (you may recall me wrapping up my post quite quickly due to the sharpness of the pain). I would go to the bathroom and find nothing more than very, VERY, mild spotting. I was a little worried, but figured today would be the day... sure enough, she appeared this morning shortly after I woke up.

What I find strange is that AF is acting a bit strangely. It is already strange enough that I had such unbearable pains yesterday (I was in pain sitting,
standing, bending over, etc.) with no blood, when the full-blown menstruation appeared, it was very dark brown and lumpy/clotty. I have continued having cramps, but I nipped them in the bud (no pun intended) this morning by taking some Advil, so that may have helped. It is just soooo strange, I can't even wrap my mind around what is going on.

I am going to be going to the Dr. soon, and might make an appointment with the GYN as well (she is the wife of my PCP) and talk to her a bit about what is going on. I talked to her a while back about Fertility issues, and such, and she mentioned that I shouldn't worry too much until I was ready to TTC if I thought I was having issues (I wasn't even engaged to Mr. DBud then, but I was just looking for a "heads-up"). I haven't been TTC-ing long, but my period is acting so weird, that I just feel I need to know what's going on here.

On top of all that... I am super emotional. I went to Target today with Mr. DBud and my Mother to see some stuff, etc. and I happened to be in the baby toy aisle. I started playing with this baby cell phone. Mr. DBud came up behind me and said, "You want to have a Baby, don't you..." and I almost started crying. I don't know what's wrong with me! UGH! I hate feeling so weird. Hopefully I ca
n get ahold of all this soon. I know I keep saying that, but honestly, I try to stay positive no matter what, which I guess is good considering this might be a tough road. And does it help that they keep putting a commercial with "3 is the Magic Number" as the theme song?

FML.

The end.

No time for anything :-/

I have been so incredibly busy... I can't even begin to explain!! The only times that I have been home are to sleep and shower. Between work and the Opera, it's just crazy! Thankfully after this weekend things will slightly let up... And I have to say that I am truly thankful for tomorrow's Holiday... But then there's a recital, and the Holidays and a Wedding... Life doesn't stop!

I haven't even been able to chart... :-/ according to FF, I am ovulating this week, which is really not fitting into our schedule (boo). On top of that there's just no energy (especially on my end) to BD. I put Mr. DBud to help with laundry this week too, because I am so overwhelmed!!! Ugh... Yes, I know, I am such a Diva! Haha :) thank God for him! He really helped :)

Well, the good news is, I finally got my insurance card! So I am going to make an appointment to get a referral for the R.E.... I was looking, and found one that specializes in fertility... So we shall see!!

Other than that, it is what it is... My cousin had her little baby girl this past weekend... She is one of those lucky ones getting pregnant on het first try... Ha! If it were only so for all of us on here...

On the Road Again...

The road to AF that is. Does anyone else do this???? Hello, we had Mr. JB's SA done, and of course we all know it wasn't good news. We have moved on to adoption, but in the back of my mind I still believe that MAYBE someday I will get pregnant. Like now. I am on CD23. I *usually* have a 26-27 day cycle. More often than not a 26 day cycle. I did have a couple of 29 day cycles in their towards the very end, and my last cycle was 30 days (but, I tend to think the 30 day cycle was a result of being on the progestorone supplement). Anyhoo, here I sit wondering if I am pregnant. I know. I know. I need to let it go and just focus on the adoption process. Which, I am...but, one can hope right??? I want to be that person that tells everyone about our infertility struggles with Mr. JB's sperm, and then ends up pregnant with that miracle baby. Hmmmph.

I even went looking for my BBT last night figuring that I could start temping again to see if my temps are up. I could not find it ANYWHERE. I have a hunch that Mr. JB threw it away. Seriously. He told me to get rid of it when we decided to go the adoption route, so it would not be beyond the realm of possibility that he did indeed trash it. Anyways, after a searching frenzy I gave up.

I have even resorted to looking at my FF chart again, even though I have not temped at all. I am thinking I O'd around CD 12-14, as I had tons of EWCM on CD 10, and I usually O within a few days of that. So, I figure I can ballpark when I O'd.

Gosssssh, I am a LOSER!

October 22, 2010

Itching to POAS!!!!!

I am 13dpo and itching to POAS... Even though Fertility Friend (www.fertilityfriend.com) says to wait until 18dpo.

Decisions, decisions... I think I am going to buy a 3 pack of First Response tests and take one tomorrow... That is, if I don't take one tonight ;) I can't help but be anxious! I have had some cramping and gas, and my forehead broke out like never before (it's only a few blemishes, but that's a lot for me since I normally have good, blemish-free, skin). I have been a little moody too. Then again, I could be overanalyzing all this :-/ I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I just have to say... If Mr. DBud and I are successful in our 1st month TTC, I will be sooooooo shocked. Like, seriously, I will be shocked beyond belief. If I am not, of course I will be slightly disappointed, but I never thought of myself as being one of those women who conceive on their first try. And what's more, the night we BDed and *possibly* conceived, Mr. DBud finished quicker than ever! I know, TMI, but he usually takes forever, and this time it was super quick!! So strange...

Until my next update... :)

Do you believe in Miracles?

So many people ask for Miracles every day... A Miracle to get them out of debt, save their home, save their children, family members, pets etc. I think it's pretty obvious that there are many women hoping for a Miracle to happen in order for them to get pregnant... and there is a place for these women to go... The Our Lady of La Leche Shrine in St. Augustine, Fl. Maybe someone has blogged about this before, or maybe not... but either way, I thought I'd share. Now, I don't know how many of you are believers, or religious or whatnot... but regardless, I happen to know, from past experiences, that the Power of Prayer can be pretty, well... Powerful. No matter who you pray to. If you don't believe in any of this, of course that's fine, I don't mean to force my ideals on anyone. We all have our beliefs and our own practices... but this place is amazing. I have been there before, but I haven't actually gone into the chapel to pray... as I mentioned before, we have just begun our TTC journey. This little Chapel is nestled in this beautiful, peaceful, park, and offers refuge and hope to thousands of women who travel from all over in hopes of one thing... a Miracle. The prayer is as follows,

"Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen."

I am only at the beginning of my TTC journey... still learning the ropes of this charting thing, and not even close to feeling the desperation of trying month after month without the desired result... but I can really feel for those women who do. Not everyone is lucky enough to have their "wish" granted on the first try... and when all those Doctors visits and BFNs keep giving you an answer you don't want to hear... sometimes, you just need to have a little "faith"... in whatever you believe in.

Sad

Today was a very eye opening day for me. I am 29 years old, and I found out that a coworker of mine (who I have really become to know quite well) has Cancer. She is also 29. I can't even tell you what kind it is...all I know is that she was in the SAME boat as me. She has a three year old daughter, born just merely days after lil JB. Her and her hubby had been trying to get pregnant about the same amount of time as Mr. JB and me when school ended in June. She was getting ready to undergo testing to see why she was having such difficulty getting pregnant, because they had no problems getting pregnant with her daughter. When they did the testing they found the cancer, did a complete hysterectomy, and she is now undergoing chemo every week.

WOW.

Puts things in perspective for me, but also scares the crap out of me, because you could NOT meet a sweeter person than her. It amazes me the strength she has, because lord knows I don't think I could muster the same strength if it were me.

I am now 5 DPO, and I keep praying that this is it for us...but, a little piece of my heart was given to her today when I heard her sad story. I know not getting pregnant this cycle will tear me apart, but with her story in the back of my mind, and with everything she has had to deal with, I know I can get through this. If she can, anyone can.

Good Vs. Evil!

Guess what I did today?? Shopped for my neighbor, who just had a beautiful baby boy. We became good friends with them, when we realized that their daughter, attended the same preschool as lil June Bud, and that the kids were in the same class. Lil JB doesn't go to that preschool anymore, but with them living diagonally across the street from us, we have remained very good friends with them. Not only did she have a beautiful baby boy, but she also named him our number 1 baby boy name. Not that it makes any difference to them or us, but it was just ironic to me. I went out and sucked up my own self pity, and bought them a really cute onesie, some cute lil socks, and some other stuff. I am also going to cook a dish for them, so that maybe that will help them out a bit. Aren't these onesies adorable????? Walmart!!!!! Such a great place for cute digs for newborns :-)

Oh, and of course I got a really cute gift for the new big sister. :-) I am so excited that their new little bundle of joy is here, but of course deep down inside I can't help being jealous. I wonder how it will be emotionally when I hold him for the 1st time? I will probably cry...tears of joy for them, and tears of frustration for us. The good thing is, that they know exactly what we are going through. Even though we have not known them too long, I really feel comfortable talking to them, so I have opened up about our TTC struggles, so they know exactly the position we are in.
Guess what else I did today?? I THOUGHT I had finally ovulated. I know. I was speechless too. I had a temp spike this morn, so I figured within a few days I would probably get crosshairs on FF (well, dotted ones atleast due to my crazy temp taking times), but crosshairs at that. Well, then I got a massive amount of EWCM. WHAAAAA? So, where does that put me in the whole O dilemma? Any insight would be awesome. I am just thoroughly confused by my body this month...and the timing does not help either. If we WERE to get pregnant this month, I would have a mid May due date, which would be AWESOME because it would only be a few weeks before the end of the school year. All of the standardized testing would be done, all of my counseling would be coming to an end, and they would not even have to replace me while I was gone.

Murphy's Law says that would be too good to be true. Oh, but here's a positive...
