Ok...now I'm worried!

See this color? I HATE this color! Why? because for the last 4 days (including today) I have experienced some brown discharge. Some things I read says that this is an early sign of a miscarriage and others say that there is nothing to worry about. My doctor's appointment is still a week away! I'm very worried that all of this was just too easy for me. I'm worried I might be losing this baby...

Update: Just heard back from the OB/GYN and they said for me to continue to monitor it but it sounds normal (even though that is still not going to calm my nerves) and my 1st appt is in a week so hopefully all will still be well.

  2. Can you go to the ER? or Urgent Care?
They can probably check you out and sometimes I hear the throw in a free u/s

  3. I am praying everything is okay also! A friend of mine is currently 9 weeks, she had spotting (red and brown) for a few days at 5 weeks, and has had spotting again this week. She has gone in for u/s both times, everything is perfectly normal. Her doctors told her some women just spot, even during pregnancy and advised her that it is urgent only if she needs to use a tampon.

  4. Pls do not go to the hospital or an urgent care, they will have you wait at least 2-3 hours and they really can not do anything to prevent a m/c. And since you are very early in your pregnancy there u/s machine might not pick up the sac/baby. Its beast to try to wait until your dr apt that's next week and they can do a trans vaginal u/s and see everything.
I am praying for you, If it stays brown I think you will be fine. When its brownish spotting its usually old blood that has dried out from inside. If it starts to turn Red then you will want to call your doc and try to see him/her right away.

  5. It wasn't urgent enough for the ER at all. Just waiting to see what the doc says tomorrow.
